Question: would Jake know about the cult theory?

I don't think he would know about it. Maybe a small inkling but not enough to believe it.

Name: Jean
Age: 20
Description: Short and very thin and boyish looking. Dark skin and close cropped curly hair. She has rounded nose, a heart shaped little mouth and striking blue eyes.

Personality: Outwardly she's pretty superficial. She's loud, and brash, and loves shocking people. She makes a living as a jazz singer, smokes, dances, and drives a car. Her mother is always telling her that she is ruining her life, but Jean doesn't care much, and would rather have as much fun as she can before it's over.

Background: Her mother is black and her father is white, but Jean never knew him because such a union is illegal. Her mother worked as a maid while Jean was little, but eventually turned more and more to opium and mystery medicines. She's addicted now and largely incapacitated, so Jean takes care of her for the most part.

So how shall we add Jean to the story? Will she be a near victim that gets saved and then involved or something else?

Well I certainly hope it's not dead. That would be disappointing.

HAI GUISE XD

Sorry I haven't been posting. I'm back now. :)

Edit: Nitpick! The police have noticed; they've got a special task force on it. Remember? Though thinking about it, it would probably make more sense for the task force to be run by the FBI and just have police involvement, wouldn't it?
