Hey guys, So my friend recently introduced me to this site, its called figment and its a place were you can share your writing with other people, (there's even legit published authors on there as well) get feedback/encouragement and other stuff, its super awesome and a great tool for us writers, so you should definitely check it out!

~True Heroism is remarkably sober, very undramatic. It is not the urge to surpass all others, whatever the cost. But rather the urge to serve others whatever the cost~

...I'd be cautious about this, to be honest. From what little I know, if you're trying to get a manuscript published, a publisher won't even consider it if the story has already been posted to an online community, as doing so is technically a form of self-publishing. I don't know all the ins and outs of it, but just... caution, exercise it. (Also, there's always the chance that someone else will--whether intentionally or otherwise--steal your ideas.)

@Kitteh: if the site requires you to log in and has an option to limit the readership I think it's all right?
...But honestly, how many of us are writing things that we're trying to publish IN THEIR CURRENT FORMS? I think it sounds fun and I'm sick of not sharing things. :P Perhaps I'll sign up once I finish something.
I think I want to. But first I have to write stuff. :P
