Well, I still know next to nothing about how my Magic actually works and it's driving me crazy, but apparently I didn't need all that knowledge to be able to write my Nano. :D

Peristera: All I have so far is this:

Magic is...

-The fifth Element. It controls the other four Elements.

-Magic actually manifests itself in the form of little creatures called magycks. Yes, I need to work on the name. :P

-It has multiple personalities and each of these little creatures is one of them.

-It is possible to destroy magic. The world was created with a set amount of it. When a magyck is destroyed there is less magic left. The power goes into the most powerful Element. (in this case, the Emperor.)

-There are one hundred people who use magic, and they each have an assigned magyck creature. These people are called Elementals. (yeah. I don't have any original names right now. :P) They are not immortal. When one of them dies, a new Elemental is born.

-These people can destroy magycks by absorbing the power into themselves. Every time this happens the weakest Elemental loses their second sight, and when he dies another one is not born to replace him. The ratio of Elementals to magycks is 1:1. ALWAYS.

-The most powerful Element can trap magic. When a magyck "Goes out" it transforms into something darker. I think that is the difference between black and white magic. Not sure yet. :D
