SGU is... different. The premise is totally ripped off of Star Trek: Voyager. And yeah, it is sort of the younger, edgier version. Well, it tries to be. It sort of... I don't know. It's growing on me, though. The last few eps were really good.

Well, the characters are totally different. And there aren't as many aliens. Also the ship isn't fully under their control. And they have contact with Earth. Really it's just the stranded-in-an-uncharted-galaxy thing that's the same.

And LOL. He SO is. XDDDDD
