"Yes, why are we going there?" Vishta seconded Harden's question.

The elf just looked at her. "You'll find out soon," he said.

Jurou felt a twinge of annoyance as he ran after Niroal. He didn't come to Sarr to get into street fights. He didn't even like fighting. If it was anyone else, he would have walked the other way. But...he didn't want Niroal killed.

The man whose shoulder he'd thrown his knife into was leaned against the wall of one of the rundown buildings, groaning. Jurou stopped in front of him. "I'll have that back, thank you," he said, pulling the knife from the man's shoulder and grimacing at the crimson blood he tried to shake off the blade.

He stepped away from the man's rather poor attempts at kicking him and went deeper into the alley, where the lighting was poor and he squinted to try and see. He could hear the sounds of a struggle, but that was more or less it. "You know," he spoke into the darkness, "I think this would be a lot easier for everyone if we took this out into the semi-daylight."

(Annd that'll probably be my last post for quite a while. Remember what I said about ghosting; I don't want to be left behind in this story, so it's quite all right. See ya!)

Aramis followed Hever, through the city. Down winding streets and back alleys. He was a few paces behind hever, so he sped up. Once he had caught up with him he said.
"Hever where are we going"?
"To Arnosh, he is a freind of mine, he can give us the information we need" Hever said no more but strode on.

Harden glanced at Vishta and the others in the cart, then back to the elf. Were the elves taking them to a safe place in the city? Then why not tell them?

He looked over at Vishta again. Maybe it was so she wouldn't tell the Handarians where they were? But then why had the elves taken her in the first place.

Something didn't feel right, and if he didn't have a bad leg he might have considered jumping out of the cart and making a run for it as well.

His gaze returned to the city they were nearing. I guess we'll find out where we're going soon enough. He just hoped he would be free.

Jatira stared out the window of her tiny room. Life could be so incredibly dull. She turned back to the room and loosed and aroow which thuded into a half-century old tapestry. After studying the quivering bolt for a moment she went over and plucked it from the wall. Very dull.

Hearing voices out her window, she went back to it and looked out, tilting her head from side to side to peer down the street.

Two figures were heading up the street towards her. One was a dark haired man who she was pretty sure was an elf, by the way he carried himsefl and walked, but the light was poor and she couldnt be sure. The other had much lighter hair and both carried weapons, though she couldnt judge them in the dark. They spoke quietly with each other as they walked beneath her window.

Jatira quickly drew back into the room and strapped on her quiver. Her longbow she tucked near her side and she hurried back to the window, watching the men until they had passed. It was not a far drop to the stony allyway below since the first floor of the building was low so she jumped lightly from the room and landed with a muffled thud.

Unsure of why she was following them, she took off on long strides down the way they had went, careful to stay in the shadows.
