"Right about now," Aeolus grinned, messing up Brandon's hair, "Why don't you get ready and meet us down there." He smiled at Falchion, Some things just are trivial to him.

"Sure." Brandon bounced up and started for the door. Falchion cleared her throat. "'Get ready' means washing your face and hands."
Brandon sighed and obeyed.
Falchion smiled again, shaking her head. So I see.

Aeolus offered her his arm, and asked, "Shall we go love?"

Falchion took his arm and gave him a quick kiss. "Of course."

Brandon bounded out the door ahead of them, starting to sing some silly song he'd picked up.

Aelus grinned and leaned over, whispering to her, "And of course Brandon must have as good as a voice as you."

Falchion grinned. "We'll have to see what it's like once it changes. He's not a bad soprano, though."

"Yes, nearly as high as your voice." He squeezed her hand lovingly, then said "I'm sure he ould be a minstrel."

Falchion nodded. "Of all the children, he and Calandria have been the two most likely to chose a path like that. It's still too early to tell with Brandon, but it wouldn't surprise me."

"Well I think we can rule out Calandria, she's happily maried to a dashing magician who is head over heels in love with her." He grinned, "I almost didn't want to give him permission to court her."

"Oh?" Falchion grinned. "Objections to him, or objections to losing her?"
