We need a new thread before the other starts acting weird. here's the last several posts:

Sighing, Ailill stretched forewards against the chains, to reach the food. He could get to it, just.

Lauren stpped through the portal and appeared in a small, dimly lit cell. She turned around and suddenly her mouth fell open.

Shin'lee watched her go then carried Nolan outside into the sunshine.

Zark was started when he saw a portal forming behind of him. he reached for his sword.

Lauren looked at Ailill's face, and tears sprang into her eyes as she rushed over to him. "Oh, Ailill, I'm so sorry..."

"Lauren!?" Ailill asked, completely shocked to see her. "What are you doing here?! No! You have to get out of here! Zark will come!"

Lauren didn't even pay attention to him. She was looking at his bruised, scraped up face. "Oh, Ailill...I'm so, so sorry..." she said, bursting into tears, and hugging him tightly. "I really love you...a lot."

"Shh, Lauren, it's okay," Ailill said, hugging her the best he could, with his arms still chained to the wall. "I love you too. But Zark's going to come. You can't let him catch you."

Lauren touched his bruises lightly with her fingers. "Your face..." she said sadly.

"I can do that." Llewellyn answered. After he got Aeolus' herb bag, he gave it to him.

"They'll heal," Ailill assured her, forcing himself not to wince as her fingers brushed over the tender skin.

Lauren sighed and looked down. "Do you still love me?" she asked.

"Of course I still love you," Ailill said, tipping her chin up to look at him. "Lauren, I've loved you since I left you to be Cargon's prisoner only a few days after we met. I can't just stop."

Lauren smiled and kissed him. "I'm going to get you out of here." she said softly. "Where are the keys?"

"Zark has them," Aililll told her. "But you can't stay here, Lauren. Get out while you have the chance. Zark can't find you."

"Thank you," Aeolus said softly, accepting them. "If you can keep in contact with us through my star in Myrlon's cell it will be very helpful." Aeolus sighed, "Somehow I feel I shouldn't leave..." He walked over to Falchion and put an arm on her shoulder. However if Falchion starts having problems I will insist she leaves...being pregnant in prison... He grimaced, knowing not many gaurds would be overly kind to a pregnant lady. The older ones maybe, but not the younger ones... He managed a smile to Llewellyn, "Thank you for coming by."

Zark opened the door to the cell, holding out his sword, eyes blazing.

Ailill looked up to see Zark in the doorway and blanched. "Lauren, get out of here. Now," he said urgently.

"Oh no," Zark said softly, and as smooth as oil, "She can stay..." He held his gleaming sharp sword tightly.

"It was my pleasure." Llewellyn said. "I will go speak to Myrlon." Leaving the cell, Llewellyn misted to where Myrlon was.

Aeolus watched him go, thankful for a king as kind as Llewellyn. The Comet was excellant if a bit cold and withdrawn, but Llewellyn was more down to earth and very involved, anda good friend. Aeolus appreciated that.
He set down by Falchion, still keeping his hand on he shoulder, and said, "Love...can we finish what we were talking about before hand? About the baby?" I'm going to be a father...? Again?

I am not leaving you in this wretched place, Ailill. Lauren said.

She turned around to face Zark. "I will NOT stay, and neither will my husband," she informed him. "What have you done to him?!"

Zark narrowed his eyes, holding his sword, "I've done nothing to him that he did not deserve you impudant girl!" He glared at Ailill and growled, "You said you did not have a mate that cared for you."
Turning back to lauren he said, "I suggest you leave."

Lauren completely resented being called a girl, and she picked up the cane lying on the floor and whacked Zark with it. "Not without Ailill." she said firmly.

Zark winced then his eyes flared. In one move with his sword he cut the cane and with another he swung for the heart. His aim was off though, still being a novice at swords, and the blow landed on the arm instead.

Lauren screamed with pain and fell to the floor, a huge wound opening in her arm, and half severing it.

Zark snarled something and decided to finish what he accidently started. He brought his sword down again, completely severing the arm. "That's teach you," he snarled. Then he picked up the severed arm for his own purposes and turned around and left, deciding to let her bleed to death in front of Ailill. If she didn't die well...she's be pretty useless...

Lauren fell into a semi-comatose state as she continued to lose blood. The only thing that stood out clearly was the pain from the severed nerves. She knew that something horrible had happened, but her brain was to hazy to figure out what.

Myrlon was sitting by the small fire in his room, reading a book, when he looked up to see a wraith enter. He jumped and then recognized him. They'd met a time or two, briefly. "Llewellyn?"

Falchion nodded. "Yes. What about him in particular?"

(yes, the baby is a he)

Zark carred the arm down the hall then set it on a table, watching as the blood drained from it. Now to find those creatures....

"Is he...half wraith?" Aeolus smiled at the fact that Falchion was already aware of the gender, though he wasn't all that happy for another boy...not if the child would turnh out like Aeyden...
