So, complete news to me, but that book I loved in high school/college which is also beloved by our dear LB Graham apparently has had some controversy surrounding it! Some very articulate controversy which nevertheless makes my eyebrows swing up in the vicinity of my hairline. I'm amazed I never came across these essays before; this is the kind of stuff I'm always prowling the internet for.
I'm still formulating my thoughts on these, but I am very curious to hear from any of you who've read the books--pretty sure there are a handful of us, yes?

Also, if you've read any more of Card's work, feel free to bring that into the discussion as well. I feel that the second essay in particular resonates with a LOT of his other stories, but I'm probably the only one on this board who scrounged up a used copy of
Songmaster so I'd love to know if ya'll have the same impression.
