So clearly the answer to this is we should all try and post something when we look in. XD even if it's pointless spam. Can't be worse than the already-present spammers, anyway.
I miss this place, too. I don't check in as often as I used to.
Out of curiosity, has anyone been responding to the spam in any way? I reported a couple but they're still here. So I'm thinking the best thing to do is not even click on the threads, at all. Since karlaa proves not all of them are bots, maybe they'll take the hint and move on to greener pastures.
Then again, the board being mostly dead hasn't stopped them.
I suppose if we can generate enough traffic we can just outpost them. Which serves the dual purpose of yet another zombie revival.
Well, from the number of people who've posted on this thread I'd say the odds are that somebody will respond, even if it's not right away.
And I'm planning on starting up some more writing challenge threads as soon as I've amassed some prompts (which I'm doing right now) so you should come by for those, at least. :)
