I want to know who comes here, but doesn't actually like these books - I'm not one of you, but here's a place for you to grouse to your hearts' content. Have fun!

they're boring.
they dotn even TRY to subtle about how christian they are and the plot twists (what few they are. this mans plot is liek a train.) you can see comeing from a mile away. further more the characters that he THINKS you should care about and that he obviously loves to peices (i smell a darling here) bored me to tears...

LOL Well, I liked the books a few years ago...and...well, things have changed, I guess. =P

Like Shali said, the plot is about as subtle as getting smashed on the head with a sledgehammer and the characters remind me a bit of paper dolls. They're rather flat and bland, imho.

I...liked the books when I was twelve, and read them then.:D And then I HAD to finish the series of course, but...

I like the books, and L.B. was AMAZINGLY dedicated to actually FINISH a 5 book series! (something I have never had the patience for ;D)

but...no author is perfect. I like the bad characters more than the good ones, and the plot relies rather too much on Dues Ex Machina. and I'm sure there are more flaws, but...I would still consider myself a fan...

(in other words that's my two cents in spamming.XD)

I guess I really like the storyline, but I don't like the way it was written.

hey you all this is just my personal opinion and I think you should consider this. Since this is the fan site I think this a little disrespectful and I think you all should consider editing.

If I may point out, the rules of the site are no swearing and PG content, and no talking about cults and such. There was never any mention of having to keep our opinions - even if they are negative - of the books, silent. Last I checked, we did live in a free country where we are free to speak our opinions, even on fansites.

So...just my 2 cents. =)

Meh, the books were fine, we read them as a family. Will I ever read them again? Nah. I started to hate the books toward the end because of how much they were like Lord of the Rings. They measured Lord of the Rings in plot, but in comparison Lord of the Rings is a mountian and these were a pancake.
:P:P
Right now I'm reading something more dark and depressive, but hey, I mostly hate fantasy.
