Why did it have to end like that......now i feel sad.....i even cried O_O no one else i know has read the book so i came here to talk please reply :)

Well, first of all, welcome to the forum. I can answer questions about the forum if you have any. :)

As for the ending...I think you'll find it makes more sense after the later books. I don't think any reason is ever given, and maybe it didn't have to end like that. But it has a huge effect on what happens in the other books.

I know what you mean though. When I read Beyond the Summerland I cried really hard at the end and was VERY irritated with the cliffhanger.:) In the later books though, it makes sense, and I don't think that you'll be too sad about it by the end of the fifth.

Yeah, ending to the first I was rather annoyed with. But I got to read the next one like instantly so it wans't too bad for me.

well i am fortunate because about 2 years ago, i was at a christian book store in an oregon mall and i went to buy the shadowmancer books(read first and couldnt put it down i highly recommend it) and i saw these three books( binding of the blade 1-3) and i thought ok 3 for 22(buy 2 get third free for $11) so i thought what the heck why not and now i regret not reading sooner cause i LOVED it but i am still sad.....but i just got passed prologue of 2nd today and i hope that his son is just as cool as joraiem(sp?) and i really need to get books 4&5 hope my library has it :) sorry for it being so long, when i write i like to make descrioptive and put in my thoughts....and nice to meet you rhee(are we allowed to put real names in?)

Yeah, I wasn't happy about the end of Beyond the Summerland, but I was pretty happy by the end of All My Holy Mountain.

Not too many people give out their real names on here to everyone but some do and there's a fair amount of people IMing eachother and on Facebook so some of us get some that way. Most of the people on here that know my real name are people I know irl. Actually, it's probably starting to get pretty even. XD
