I think the most random things were Saegan's interest in Bryar and Benjiah and Keila hooking up. Loved the book though. A little disappointed in Valzaan being Alazare, but that's OK. Saegan and Bryar dying was well done. Loved when Pedraan smoked Farimaal upside the head with his hammer!

LOL! I had thought in the first book that Saegan and Bryar WOULD fall in love, but I was wrong.

I liked the whole Seagen/Bryar thing. And I liked the way they died. Especially Seagen.
Keila and Benjiah caught me way off guard.
I didn't really like that Valzaan thing either. I was hoping Alazare was either somebody new or somebody we never would have thought of (like Caan or something).

I'm still not sure if I like the whole Keila Benjiah thing. She seems to be a bit careless with her emotions. She cast off Aljeron without a glance.
