wow, other people actually like Rulalin like me!!!!! He's one of the few interesting things about BotB, even though we know he will repent and become good again...because he's the character most like me...

I absolutely love Rulalin! I forgave him long ago and now just wish everyone else would (Aljeron in particular). His viewpoint on things is so interesting.

I was thinking the same thing as Traveler, no offense, and granted L.B.'s not perfect but have you or could you or most of us do what he's done? I mean writing a book is huge. It's wicked hard and being an author is a profession where dealing with and accepting critisism is part of the job.

By the way I still remain unwavered in the fact that BOTB was one of the best book series I've read.

I don't think Rulalin will repent. In Father of Dragons Benjiah told him he had one more chance, and he didn't take it. I still feel really sorry for him though.
