Oh, grow up guys. :) JK.
I've said before though "There is nothing new under the sun" I challenge any of you to come up with something COMPLETELY new. Tolkien almose succeded with his Hobbits, and the Ents are pretty good, though they bear similarities to Dryads and Hamadryads. Graham is doing good to have come up with his Battle Brothers and Kumatin, even if we really don't know exactly what it is.
Oh, and the Malakim are closer to Orks than the Grendoli are to anything in the Silmarillian or Lost Tales. ("Tolkien had a VRY simalar character in Middle-Earth if u've read the Silmarilion and the book of lost tales, etc. Malikim were original.") So if anything, the Grendolai would be the more original of the two.

Pay no attention to the bird behind the curtain!!

Calvin and Hobbes: L.B Graham is no where Near as good as tolkien (seriosly, who ever will be) BUT after Tolkien and maybe C.S. Lewis I consider him to have a WONDERFUL imagination and a lot of guts to undertake writing five such thick books. It's true there is nothing new under the sun, but I think that LB has done a good job of trying to make there be something new under the sun. His writing style could use a little work, but hey, let's not split hairs. I can't wait to read the last book. Happy roasting yourself.

okay, uh mindarin...i never said he was ALL krap, just that people on here seemed to be worshipping them, so i just pointed out some things in the books to try and get peoples thoughts on the books back down to reality...where they belong...good, but not that original, and dragging at parts...but still worth reading once or so...

I never said you did say that. I'm just saying that even though the books may not be perfevt they are definately a very good series. Do you think that you could write one as good?

(Sorry if this makes you mad or anything)
