Alazare (book 4)

So, to bring up the old Valzaan Alazare controversy once again. Still working my way through book 4 after just re-reading the first 3. More and more I am thinking Valzaan is Alazare.

Valzaan being blind, always having windohovers (king falcons) around - Alazare was surrounded by king falcons after throwing malek off the mountain.

Valzaan is over 900 years old - titans seem to live forever

from book 4:

valzaan is saved once again, and when telling his story to Aljeron and the others he mentions how he was reborn twice before. My guess is once after he threw malek from the mountain. The second when he became Valzaan, and now this time my guess is he is being reborn to be able to retake his Titan form so he is still Valzaan, but has a previously lost ability back again.

Valzaan mad it from Avrom gol to the mountain with the same speed of Aljeron's group even though he is blind and without a horse. My guess is he took on his titan form to make the trip in that time and that the large indent in the snow Aljeron saw when leaving Avrom gol was really Alazare's footprint and not a track left by the Vulsutyrium. And even though he could have taken down the vuls, he didn't fight him because it was not yet time to reveal his true identity yet.

Well, gonna keep reading and see if there is anything that confims or deters my suspisions.

very interesting, I still don't think so, but interesting.

Finally, brothers,
whatever is true,
whatever is honorable,
whatever is just,
whatever is pure,
whatever is lovely,
whatever is commendable,
if there is any excellence,
if there is anything worthy of praise,
think about these things.

I think there is a possibility of valzaan being alazare, but I think there is a better chance of garin being alazare

Okay, you're evidence in favor of Valzaan being Alazare is VERY interesting...just some points i thought up

1) in one of the books, Valzaan mentions being trained by the first prophet, Alazare...unless Alazare spent that time recovering, i think this is evidence against

2) Or maybe the Alazare was the first and 2nd prophets, and thus technically, he was trained by the first...so he didn't lie...and he just switched human forms for some reason..

but yeah, as much as I don't want Alazare to be Valzaan, there's at least a lot of evidence, and it makes the most sense...although, really...it'd be kinda lame...

in favor of Valzaan being Alazare, in book 1 he also says he has many different names. Could one be Alazare?

yeah...i haven't read the 4th book yet, but i'd definitely say i'm leaning towards Valzaan being Alazare instead of whatshisname...

also, just a thought here, but L.B. claims to be a Christian, right???? do you think there's a parallel between Jesus becoming man and if Alazare is Valzaan??? they both had to give up abilities it would seem, and they both were extraordinary men???? The similarities between the 2 is quite convincing to me, like L.B. is doing an allegory, just like the Malek rebel thing is like Satan in Heaven when he rebelled...

I personally do not believe he is alazere becuase #1 wouldn't he have reconized Synoki? or at least felt his power and known who he was? #2 valzaan clearly states that he was trained by the first prophet, evir. Now would a titian need training from a man?

like I said, isn't it curious How Joriaem and Benjiah were the only prophets mentioned besides Valzaan and whatshisname...yet the first prophet and Valzaan have lived practically forever...i'm thinking maybe Valzaan is the first prophet, who is Alazare...because then it makes sense to "have been trained by the first prophet" because, as Valzaan, he does know more than the first prophet, because he did learn things as he went while being the first prophet..

for some reason, Alazare changed from the 1st prophet form into Valzaan...not sure why

if nothing else, it's just cool to try and think out the possibibities...

and the recognized synoki...he did say in the first book that Joriaem was right to not trust him, and that he wasn't what he seemed...

maybe Allfather revealed to him how Malek will be defeated, and he knew the time was not yet at hand, so revealing he was malek wouldn't have helped at all, because once Malek knew they knew, they would all die...
